PINCONNING (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard has pulled the body of a 39-year-old Pinconning man from Saginaw Bay.

The recovery was made Wednesday after a 14-hour search. The man reportedly died after riding his four-wheeler into open water.

The Coast Guard dispatched an airboat and a helicopter from Selfridge Air National Guard base near Mount Clemens to search the water. Officials said the man wasn't wearing a life vest.

Family members got worried when the unidentified man didn't return from ice fishing.
