Arts festival in downtown Fremont Saturday

FREMONT — The NCCA Arts Festival will be held Saturday at the Market Place Pavilion in downtown Fremont, directly behind the NCCA Artsplace.

Booths will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Visitors can browse through artist's booths which will include metal sculpture, glass work, pottery, jewelry, photography, fiber arts, hand-carved birds, wood carving, mixed media, hand-sculpted candles, paper mache sculpture and psanky eggs. Family entertainment, food and children's activities are scheduled for the day.

Along with the NCCA Arts Festival, the NCCA Artsplace will be providing "Hot Wheels," a one-day car and motorcyle show in the parking area surrounding the festival. Customs, classics, street stock and antiques will be on display.

There will be an exhibit reception at 1:30 p.m. in the NCCA Artsplace gallery.
