Ride to Remember event planned for May 24

FRUITPORT — Ride to Remember, a 15-mile bike ride around Spring Lake to benefit Harbor Hospice, is planned for Saturday, May 24.

The ride will start from Fruitport High School, 357 N. Sixth Ave., at 11 a.m. Check in starts at 10:30 a.m.

The registration fee is $15 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 16. Registration includes a Fruitport Old Fashioned Days lunch at the conclusion of the ride.

Advance registration is appreciated. Forms are available at Harbor Hospice and the Fruitport Chiropractic Center.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice residence, a program of Harbor Hospice. The Fruitport Township hospice is on nine wooded acres near The Lakes Mall, with 14 private patient rooms. It serves people who are terminally ill when home care is not possible.
