SL library celebrates Children's Book Week

SPRING LAKE Children's Book Week, a time to celebrate the love of reading with the children in your life, has moved from its traditional November date to the month of May. This year, Children's Book Week will be held today through Sunday.
WOOD-TV meterologist Terri DeBoer and Spring Lake author Amy Young will visit Spring Lake District Library to celebrate the fun of reading with children and parents during Children's Book Week. DeBoer will read one of her favorite children's books during preschool storytime at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Young will share her latest book, "Belinda Begins Ballet," during preschool storytime at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
The OAISD Play 'n Learn group for children up to age 5 will meet at 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday. Families will receive a free book to take home.
