Fruitport split a pair of games at Saturday's Zeeland East baseball tournament, putting the Trojans' record at 15-13 overall.
The Trojans put together a four-run rally in the bottom of the seventh to silence the host Dux in the opener, 4-3. Fruitport led off with singles from Patrick Arntson and Dominic Rizzo, and later received RBI hits from Nick Brezina, Tyler Basch and Robert Afton to tie the contest at 3-all.
With two outs and Basch in scoring position, second baseman Mitch Blackmer connected on a looping hit that landed just beyond the Zeeland East shortstop, giving the Trojans the victory.
Ryan Senecal picked up the victory, as he threw a complete game.
Fruitport's offense dried up in Game 2, as the Trojans mustered only three hits in a 12-2 loss to Hamilton in the championship game.
The Trojans return to the diamond today as they host Muskegon Catholic Central in a doubleheader.
