Law officers search for stabbing suspect

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department is investigating a stabbing that took place early this morning in the garage of a Georgetown Township home.
The stabbing took place at around 3:30 a.m. at 7451 Orchid Drive, Sgt. Bob Ruster said.
Authorities first responded to the Target parking lot in Jenison, where friends had transported the victim a 20-year-old Wyoming man Ruster said. The man suffered multiple stab wounds to the back and was transported to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
The investigation revealed that the victim and the suspect, a 20-year-old Jenison man, were known to each other, Ruster said. The Sheriff's Department is working on locating the suspect, Ruster said.
