Dimitri Anderson was arraigned this morning on two counts of open murder, one count of armed robbery and a fourth-offense habitual offender charge in Ottawa County's 58th District Court, Grand Haven Department of Public Safety Director Dennis Edwards said.
Dimitri Anderson, 39, faces life in prison if convicted of the charges.
"Detectives have been persistent and relentless in their investigation to determine if Darick Anderson acted alone or in concert with other individuals," Edwards said.
Darick O'Brien Anderson, 42, has been in jail since July 6 in connection with the murders. He was also charged with two counts of open murder and one count of armed robbery. His preliminary examination has been delayed until October, Ottawa County Prosecutor Ron Franz said.

The younger Anderson brother was being held in a Lake County jail on parole violations, Edwards said, and is now being held without bond in the Ottawa County Jail. A preliminary examination should be set in the next two weeks, Franz said.
According to Edwards, Dimitri Anderson has a lengthy criminal record. The Muskegon man's record includes home invasion, weapons offenses, receiving stolen property, larceny, attempted uttering and publishing, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Edwards also said a team of investigators led by Detective Timothy Bulthuis of the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety has recovered what they believe to be the murder weapon. A Ruger .22-caliber semi-automatic handgun was found buried in the back yard of a home in Muskegon Heights, Edwards said. It was determined that the gun was stolen during the break-in and robbery of a home in Oceana County, according to Edwards.
Bob Karell, 61, who was the owner of R.K. Jewelers, and a customer, Louis Paparella, 77, were found shot to death at the downtown store on the afternoon of July 2. Police were called after Karell's daughter, Staci Czadzeck, returned from lunch and found her father lying on the floor of his office.
