Spring Lake, thanks to four flight championships, took first place at Wednesday's Buccaneer tennis quad at Grand Haven High School.
The Lakers finished with 19 points, while Grand Haven and Mona Shores tied for second with 12. North Muskegon wrapped up the field with five points.

The Lakers' Alek Kihnke won at No. 3 singles, while Ian Kihnke captured the No. 4 singles flight.
Nate Lee and Ben Esh-Nauta won at No. 1 doubles, and Lance Fredrickson and Ray Strobel came out on top at second doubles.
Grand Haven's lone flight championship came at No. 4 doubles, where Jordan Hoogerhyde and Scott Deater came out on top.

North Muskegon's Alex Haines won at No. 1 singles, beating out Spring Lake's Dave Cook, who had won the first set, 7-5, but retired late in the second set due to an injury.
The Buccaneers and Lakers both have the next several days off. Spring Lake is back in action next Wednesday against Fremont while Grand Haven hosts Hudsonville, also Wednesday.
