MACOMB TOWNSHIP (AP) Authorities say a 42-year-old woman found dead last month in her blood-splattered Macomb County condo, with no signs of injury to her body, died after drinking too much water.
But the source of the blood remains a mystery. Authorities still are awaiting tests to find out whether it was Andrea Jean Bean's blood on some walls of the home. There was no blood on Bean or on her bed.
The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens reported today that the mother of three died of very low sodium levels. The medical examiner said Bean had a psychological condition that led her drink a fatal amount of water.
Spitz said he considered the death an accident.
A nanny found Bean's body July 29 in her Macomb Township condo.
