Kids Day at Macatawa Bank set for Sept. 6

GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP — Dogs, bikes and a smoke screen machine are all part of a Kids Day planned for Saturday, Sept. 6, at Macatawa Bank, near the Meijer store on Robbins Road.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be adoptable dogs and cats from the Harbor Humane Society, an Ottawa County Sheriff's Department bike safety program, a smoke screen machine and an arson dog from the Grand Haven Township Fire Department, games, pizza and refreshments, and a book signing with local author Judy Swanson. Swanson's work is featured in "A Cup of Comfort for Cat Lovers."
