Farmer's markets opening soon for the season

The Grand Haven and Spring Lake farmer's markets will open for the season during the first week of June.

The Grand Haven Farmer's Market will open on Wednesday, June 4, and will be open at 8 a.m. every Wednesday and Saturday through October. A new green canopy will give the market a fresh look this year, and customers will continue to find seasonal produce, flowers, hanging baskets and baked goods as in years past. The Grand Haven market is located at Chinook Pier on Harbor Drive, adjacent to the municipal marina in downtown Grand Haven.

The Spring Lake Farm and Garden Market will be open every Thursday beginning June 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through mid-October. The market is located in downtown Spring Lake on Church Street, just east of the library, and features garden-fresh seasonal produce, fresh cut flowers, plants, garden items and more.
