A presentation on "The Great Michigan Read" will be made at Grand Haven High School's Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, March 12, at 7 p.m.
Comments will be provided by Jan Fedewa, executive director of the Michigan Humanities Council; Dennis Brown, representing the Consulate General of Canada; and Ed Brooks, a librarian at Loutit District Library. Immediately following the presentation, Brian Gordon Sinclair will portray Ernest Hemingway.
The presentation will be made in recognition of Loutit District Library's programming of Read Along the Lakeshore events to celebrate The Great Michigan Read. Read Along the Lakeshore has involved multiple events engaging residents with "The Nick Adams Stories" by Hemingway at nine libraries, including Loutit and Spring Lake district libraries.
