Strolling musicians to entertain Holland shoppers with Dixieland jazz Thursday night

HOLLAND — Local artist and musician Corey Ruffin and his End of Times Orchestra will be strolling the streets of downtown Holland on Thursday, playing classics from Dixieland jazz to funeral marches common to New Orleans.

The End of Times Orchestra is lead by Corey "Eno Diamond" Ruffin, who can be seen on most Thursday nights at the Street Performer Series as a caricaturist. The End of Times Dixieland group is comprised of seven musicians from the End of Times Orchestra.

The 2008 Street Performer Series takes place each Thursday night from 6-8 through Aug. 28. The event spotlights more than 40 different street performers and acts. A rotating schedule of performers can be seen within 19 different locations along Eighth Street.
