Shoreline Breakers go 3-0 at state hoops tourney

The Grand Haven/Muskegon area home school boys JV basketball team went 3-0 at the Michigan Home School Basketball State Championship, held this past weekend at Central Michigan University.
The Shoreline Breakers opened the tournament with a 63-42 victory over Sterling Heights. Colin Knebi scored 34 points in the victory.
The Breakers topped the Mid-Michigan Momentum in the next round, 46-39, coming back from a 13-point halftime deficit.
In the finals, the Breakers scored a 58-46 victory over the Capitol Area patriots.
Shoreline will meet the Howell Cougars in this weekend's state final. The winner is eligible to participate in the National Homeschool Basketball Tournament, to be held in Oklahoma City the week of March 10-15.
