The 48th annual Downtown Grand Haven Art Festival came out from under the tents Saturday.

Rain showers dampened the start of the two-day festival Saturday morning. But warm sunshine greeted visitors and vendors in the afternoon.

The festival is organized by the Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven-Spring Lake-Ferrysburg, and run by Howard Alan Events. It features 150 or more artists — plus live music and food, and a block full of kids games and activities.

The festival on the first three blocks of Washington Avenue will continue Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
