Team 911 Teen Academy in GHT July 20-24

GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP — The 2009 Team 911 Academy for Grand Haven Township teenagers is July 20-24.

The free academy will be held at Grand Haven Township Fire/Rescue, 13250 168th Ave., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Members of the Grand Haven Township Fire/Rescue Department and the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department will provide a first glimpse at careers in firefighting, paramedical and law enforcement.

Space is limited to 16 participants. The application deadline is July 17. Applicants must be 14-17 years old and reside in Grand Haven Township.
