Fireworks spotting allowed after midnight

Seating for those planning to watch fireworks Saturday night in Grand Haven may be placed after midnight, or 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

Blankets, sheets or chairs are permitted after that time on public property.

City officials said no tarps, tape, paint, tripping hazards or plastic are allowed to be placed.
