Three local teens have been arraigned on felony charges after the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety investigated a breaking and entering complaint at Eagle Ottawa Leather, 200 N. Beechtree.
The suspects, Adam Paul Hinbern, 17, Jakob Andrew Sachteleben, 17, and Brendon Daniel Ohara, 17, were all arraigned on felony charges after officers were called to the scene after receiving a complaint from the property owner and upon arrival, discovered a great deal of damage to the building.
Officers installed an alarm on the building and within hours, the alarm was triggered. Three suspects were apprehended upon arrival by GHDPS and lodged at the Ottawa County Jail.
A follow-up investigation to the premises revealed that there was damage to another Eagle Ottawa building on the property, and damage to both buildings is estimated to be $65,000.
