GH In-Water Boat Show is Sept. 12-14

The third annual Grand Haven In-Water Boat Show will take place Sept. 12-14 at the Municipal Marina.

The show is sponsored by Lakeshore Events. It runs noon to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The cost to attend is free; however, there is a $5 pass to board the boats.

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will have its 44-foot motor life boat available for tours, with free literature promoting safe boating.

Also in the show will be the Ottawa County Marine Division's patrol boat and dive/rescue trailer.

Other vessels on display will include kayaks, pontoon boats, deck boats, day boats, high-performance boats and motor yachts. There will also be an exhibitors' tent with marine-related supplies and services.

Live entertainment will include Two Dudes in Flip Flops on Friday from 4-6 p.m.; and Island Breeze from 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Saturday.
