ADRIAN (AP) An 18-year-old has pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder in the shooting deaths of his parents.
Police have said Marshall Sosby shot 40-year-old Michael Sosby and 37-year-old Carmen Sosby on Sept. 23, 2008, at their Adrian home, then reported the slayings as a murder-suicide.
The Toledo (Ohio) Blade reported that Sosby agreed Thursday in Lenawee County Circuit Court to plead to the murder charges, felonious assault, felony firearm and interfering with a police investigation. He had been expected to go to trial Dec. 9.
The Daily Telegram in Adrian reported that Sosby told a judge he was abused and shot his father out of anger before killing his mother in their home.
