Boardwalk presentation at museum Thursday night

Ken Forsma, who has had a long association with the Grand Haven boardwalk, will be the featured speaker at the Tri-Cities Historical Museum at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19.

Forsma will talk about how the boardwalk idea came about, and the joys and challenges this project has had for the community and for himself.

In 1984, Forsma headed up a group to raise funds to complete the now-popular walkway. This year, he spearheaded a group to raise funds for improvements to the 25-year-old structure.
