MUSKEGON Muskegon Community College will transport the holidays back to the golden age of radio Dec. 2-6.
The MCC production of "It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" by Joe Landry will transform the college's Overbrook Theater into a 1946 Manhattan radio studio at Yuletide.
The play was adapted by Landry from Frank Capra's classic 1946 movie "It's a Wonderful Life." The film starred James Stewart and Donna Reed.
"It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" was originally staged in 1996 at the Stamford (Conn.) Center for the Arts.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2-5 and at 3 p.m. Dec. 6. Tickets are $5 for MCC students and staff, and $10 for the public.
