Ottawa County cancels Tuesday flu clinic

The seasonal flu vaccine clinic scheduled for Tuesday at the Ottawa County Health Department in Grand Haven has been canceled. The Health Department was notified Friday by Mercy Visiting Nurse Services, which provides vaccine and staff for this location, that vaccine shipments intended to supply this clinic will not arrive in time.

Residents are encouraged to contact their primary health care providers to inquire about seasonal flu vaccine and to watch for any announcements about other public seasonal flu clinics throughout the community.

Because of the uncertainty of vaccine availability, the health department is not rescheduling any walk-in flu clinics at this time.
