Suspects charged in Holland knife attack

HOLLAND — Police have arrested two suspects they believe are responsible for an attempted homicide in a Holland Township mobile home park Wednesday afternoon.

Christoper Odie Ramirez, 19, and Ansony Roberto Gonzalez, 21, were both taken into custody after a fight erupted Wednesday afternoon in the Leisure Estates mobile home park, 523 Butternut Drive, and ended with gunfire and one man stabbed up to 12 times.

Ramirez was taken into custody about two hours after he fled the scene Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday, he was arraigned in Holland District Court on charges of felonious assault and assault with intent to commit murder. His bond was set at $500,000.

Police located Gonzalez around 3:30 p.m. Thursday at a Holland Township residence. He was taken into custody without incident and is expected to be arraigned on five felonies related to the attack.
