ATV/quad safety certification class May 24

GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP — The Northwest Ottawa Recreation Program is now taking registrations for an ATV/quad safety certification class on Saturday, May 24.

The class is designed to properly train and certify individuals to comply with state laws.

A parent must accompany students under age 12.

The class will be held at the Grand Haven Township Fire/Rescue Training Room, 13300 168th Ave., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring a sack lunch.

The fee is $15 for residents and $30 for nonresidents. Registrations are being accepted at 1415 S. Beechtree St., or call the Northwest Ottawa Recreation Program office at 850-5125 for more information.
