Police investigating string of Georgetown business break-ins

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP Police are seeking help solving a series of business break-ins along the Chicago Drive corridor in Georgetown Township.
Suspects gained access through the back doors of at least four businesses, taking cash and in one case a generator, Lt. Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department said. The total amount of items taken and damage done to the businesses exceeds $3,000, he said.
The affected businesses are American Pride Patio, 2350 Chicago Drive; Maury's Grocery, 2410 Chicago Drive; The Flame Center, 2440 Chicago Drive; and Georgetown Home Furnishing, 2450 Chicago Drive.
There are currently no suspects, Bennett said.
