SL golf bests WMC

Landon King bounced back from two early bogeys to shoot a one-over-par 38 Wednesday, helping the Spring Lake varsity boys golf team score a 158-172 victory over Western Michigan Christian.

Steve Westerburg and Danny Knape each shot rounds of 39 on their home course of Spring Lake Country Club while Will Crane shot a 42. David Bonter followed with a 43, and Alan Marine carded a 44.
