TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP A Kentwood woman was arrested Sunday evening after being caught at the scene of a Tallmadge Township break-in.
Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies responding to an alarm at A.J. Stehouwer Automotive, 11379 First Ave., at 9:42 p.m. found a man placing items into a vehicle, Sgt. Keith Garvelink said.
The man fled on foot, Garvelink said while a second suspect attempted to escape in the vehicle, but was pinned-in by deputies and taken into custody.
The second suspect, a 43-year-old woman, was taken to the Ottawa County Jail. Her name has not been released pending arraignment on several burglary charges, Garvelink said.
The male suspect is still at-large and unlawfully entered at least two residences in the Walker area while police were attempting to track him. He is described as a white male in his 30s; wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a black hat.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department or Silent Observer.
