Chamber business award luncheon is June 17

GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP — The 23rd annual Business Recognition Awards Luncheon for Northwest Ottawa County will be held Wednesday, June 17, at the Grand Haven Golf Club, 17000 Lincoln St.

During the luncheon, businesses that have contributed to the community through job growth and/or investment in their facility this past year will be awarded the 2009 Business Recognition Award by each of the five local units of government. This year's honorees are Pizza Hut (Ferrysburg), Sweet Temptations (city of Grand Haven), Generation Care (Grand Haven Township), Almond Products (Spring Lake Township) and Garrison Dental Solutions LLC (Spring Lake Village).

The luncheon and program, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven-Spring Lake-Ferrysburg, will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The cost to attend the luncheon is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for nonmembers. To make a reservation, call the Chamber office at 842-4910.
