OCEOLA TOWNSHIP (AP) — Michigan State Police say an arrest has been made in the deaths of a couple whose bodies were found in their Livingston County home.

Several news outlets reported the arrest on Wednesday morning. No other information was available.

Authorities said the bodies of 65-year-old Richard Kowalski and his 58-year-old wife, Brenda, were found by their adult son on Thursday. The son had gone to the Oceola Township home to check on his parents.

The home is located about 45 miles west-northwest of Detroit.

Results from an autopsy have not yet been released.
