Local museum to show 'Fiddler on the Roof' Dec. 16

"Fiddler on the Roof," nominated for eight Academy Awards in 1971, will be the featured film at the Tri-Cities Historical Museum's Curator's Choice Movie Night.
The film won for best picture, director and song score. It tells the story of a poor milkman who desperately wants to hang on to his Jewish traditions while raising his family during the czarist oppression in Russia.
The museum movie event begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16.
The Tri-Cities Historical Museum is located at 200 Washington Ave. in Grand Haven.
