Ms. Gloria F. Davis, age 55, of Grand Haven died Thursday, June 25, 2009.

She was born in Hixson, Tenn., on July 12, 1953, to Homer and Bessie (Vandergriff) Fairbanks.

Ms. Davis had been employed as a laborer at Harbor Industries for 23 years. She was a loving mother who enjoyed her boys, animals and reading. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors: her sons, Erik Ordway of Spring Lake and Joshua Ordway of Grand Haven; brothers, Larry (Sandi) Fairbanks and Gary (Pat) Fairbanks, both of Grand Haven; several loving nieces and nephews; good friends: Elaine, Roberta and LouAnn; former husband, Bruce Ordway, and his mother, Phyllis Ordway.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service: Sunday, June 28, 2009, 2 p.m. at the Clock Chapel-Fruitport with the Rev. Ben Jansen officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery.

Visitation: Sunday, one hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home-Fruitport.
