Public meeting June 17 for new county park

WEST OLIVE The Ottawa County Parks and Recreation Commission has recently completed the acquisition of property for the Olive Shores County Park on Lake Michigan in Port Sheldon Township.
The commission is beginning a master planning process for this site.
The first public planning meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, in the main conference room of the county's Fillmore Street Administrative Building, 12220 Fillmore St. in West Olive. Information will be presented about the current project status, planning process and existing site features; and public input will be received.
