CEDAR CREEK TOWNSHIP (AP) Authorities say a Twin Lake man broke into a woman's mobile home, pulled out a clump of her hair, punched her in the face and stole two couch cushions before leaving.
Terrance Patrick O'Toole, 48, was charged Monday in Muskegon County's 60th District Court on one count of second-degree home invasion, a 15-year felony; and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, a four-year felony. O'Toole was also charged as a second-time habitual offender.
The victim told police the incident happened Nov. 5 in Cedar Creek Township after she rebuffed O'Toole's suggestion that they turn their "friendship" of several years "into a dating relationship."
