New council members to be sworn in Monday

With the election over, the two new representatives elected to the Grand Haven City Council are closer to officially taking their seats.

The new Grand Haven City Council will be sworn in to office during a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday inside City Hall, 519 Washington Ave.

In addition, the City Council will elect a mayor pro-tem, and appoint representatives for the Audit Committee, Harbor Transit Advisory Board, MPO-Highway and MPO-Transit.
