The parade from the former Ferrysburg Elementary School property wound down Third Street and Pine Street for nearly an hour Saturday morning.
American flags waved from the parade participants and alongside the streets. Many parade watchers were also decked out in red, white and blue attire.

Prior to the parade, the Ferrysburg City Council served up free pancakes and sausage at the former elementary school for the second annual Mayor's Community Breakfast.
"We doubled the order of food this year," Mayor Jeff Stille said. "We had about 300 people here last year, so I guess we had at least 500 or 600 this year."
The parade ended at William Ferry Park, where a flag-raising ceremony took place and the local Lions Club served lunch.
