ZEELAND — The Zeeland Historical Society will hold its fifth annual tour of historical city homes on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tours will be available for eight Victorian Homes that are over a century old. This year's theme is "Flag Day," and guests will be able to tour the streets of Zeeland lined with American flags.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary ride in a vintage car to drive them to their next destination on the tour, and Dutch desserts and drinks will be available throughout the tour.

The tour will also include musicians and artists featured in homes and gardens, re-enactors portraying historical characters, an 18th-century Victorian tea from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., a Civil War funeral at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., a presidential debate between Abe Lincoln and Jefferson Davis at Van Luster Square at 12:15 and 2:15 p.m., an art contest happening at the Dekker Huis Museum, and a woman portraying Betsy Ross sewing the American Flag and explaining how she envisions the American masterpiece.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Zeeland Chamber of Commerce, Sweet Bean, Zeeland Hardware or Bunte's Pharmacy for $22 per person. Tickets will be available for $25 on the day of the event at Dekker Huis Museum.

All proceeds of the tour will go to the restoration of the New Groningen Schoolhouse, which will be available for tours.
