Who dat gonna beat dem Saints?

Last weekend, the Washington Redskins came within a barely-wide-right field goal attempt of doing just that, but it was not to be, and New Orleans remained unbeaten with only four weeks to go.

Could the Saints be on a collision course with the only other unbeaten team — Indianapolis — toward the first Super Bowl ever between two unbeaten teams? Next up for Washington is a game Sunday at Atlanta while Indy hosts the resurgent Denver Broncos.

Also unbeaten — and barely challenged in this week of upsets — was William Becker, of Saltsburg, Pa., who tallied 130 of the possible 136 points in Week 13 of the Power Points Football Contest to claim first-place honors and the weekly cash prize of $1,000.

Becker entered the contest through the Tribune-Review newspaper in Pittsburgh.

The Tribune's local winner was Spring Lake's Lori Sutton, who beat Spring Lake's Priscilla Heffron on a tiebreaker. Both finished with 123 points.
