Who dat gonna beat dem Saints?
Last weekend, the Washington Redskins came within a barely-wide-right field goal attempt of doing just that, but it was not to be, and New Orleans remained unbeaten with only four weeks to go.
Could the Saints be on a collision course with the only other unbeaten team Indianapolis toward the first Super Bowl ever between two unbeaten teams? Next up for Washington is a game Sunday at Atlanta while Indy hosts the resurgent Denver Broncos.
Also unbeaten and barely challenged in this week of upsets was William Becker, of Saltsburg, Pa., who tallied 130 of the possible 136 points in Week 13 of the Power Points Football Contest to claim first-place honors and the weekly cash prize of $1,000.
Becker entered the contest through the Tribune-Review newspaper in Pittsburgh.
The Tribune's local winner was Spring Lake's Lori Sutton, who beat Spring Lake's Priscilla Heffron on a tiebreaker. Both finished with 123 points.
