'Dumpster day' is Saturday morning

SPRING LAKE TOWNSHIP — The township is hosting its annual "dumpster day" from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at its Department of Public Works building, 16747 150th Ave.

Spring Lake Township and Spring Lake Village residents are invited to drop off their unwanted items, including appliances. Items that won't be accepted include hazardous waste, tires, commercial/industrial materials and yard waste.

Driver licenses may be checked to verify residency.
