Spring Native plant sale, presentation May 22

GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP — The Ottawa Conservation District will hold a spring native plant sale on Thursday, May 22.
The event will include a special presentation by Vern Stephens, owner of Designs by Nature. He has more than 10 years experience collecting seeds, propagating plants, natural landscaping design and installation, and prairie restoration of Michigan native plants.
Stephens' presentation at 6 p.m. will focus on native plants that attract birds, butterflies and other wildlife.
The plant sale will follow the presentation from 8-9 p.m. It will be held at the Ottawa Conservation District office, 16731 Ferris St.
Order forms are available for those who cannot make the presentation and would like to pre-order and pick up their orders that evening.
