A 37-year-old Grand Haven woman, who prosecutors say was a substitute teacher for Mona Shores Public Schools, pleaded guilty to two home invasion charges.
Tamara Lynne Poole, 1618 Despelder St., Apt. 7, pleaded guilty Tuesday to second-degree home invasion and attempted second-degree home invasion in Muskegon County Circuit Court. She was arrested Feb. 21 in Norton Shores.
According to Muskegon County Prosecutor Tony Tague, Poole broke into several Norton Shores homes Feb. 20 in search of prescription drugs, to which she is addicted.
Poole was a contracted substitute teacher for Mona Shores schools, but district officials said she has only substituted once the same afternoon she was arrested.
Poole has a pending second-degree home invasion charge in Ottawa County, which is scheduled for trial in July. The charge is connected to a November 2007 incident in a Grand Haven home.
