It's January in West Michigan, not Fort Myers Florida. We're paying now for that endless string of perfect weather we had here this past summer.
What is with everyone whining about the snow. Obviously the media has really figured out how to milk a snow event.
I love that all the options above are negative, or "no impact on me". How about: I love the snow, and I love this crazy weather! Yes, if it continues for months I will get sick of it, but considering we've had countless Januaries, Februaries, and Marches around here that are gray, dull, and wet, I love the freshness, brightness, and beauty of all this snow. Happy 2012!
haha, OK, now fast-forward 2 years and you will be in the present. I am tiring of shoveling already.
Monday and Tuesday were great when everyone stayed home and there were less drivers (who obtained their licenses from the cracker jack boxes) on the roads! Other than that, smooth sailing!
how about an option that says: you didnt have a choice in whether you could SKIP work or not, because of a little blowing snow? or an option that says: I couldve made it to work just fine, but came up with a lame excuse to miss 2 days & not even attempt to get to work.
people are pathetic. its michigan, we get snow every year!
I have found that it affected my checkbook. The amount of gas I had to put in my Snowmobile increased. I LOVE THIS WEATHER. As far as work goes, my bald all season tires on my little car got me to Holland and back just fine. No Winter tires needed for me. Born and raised here, know how to live here.
