As flood waters begin to recede across West Michigan, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Management division continues to monitor the water levels along the Grand River and other areas of the county from the recent flooding.

LANSING — Flooding that prompted evacuations in parts of the Midwest persisted Friday in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio and was expected to last through the weekend in areas that have been swamped by high water from heavy rains and melting snow.
Ottawa County Emergency Management continues to monitor Grand River water levels following heavy rain Monday night.
