Spring Lake played one of its most complete games of the season on Friday evening at Grant High School, helping the Lakers build what they thought was a safe 11-point lead with 1 minute, 59 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Instead, the Lakers had to hold on for dear life and withstand a late 3-point shooting clinic by the Tigers in their 63-62 victory. It was the second one-point win for Spring Lake (7-6, 5-3 Lakes Eight) this week, following Tuesday's 49-48 decision against Newaygo.
