The public can join the Shoreline Amateur Astronomical Association at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Ottawa County Parks Nature Education Center for a one-hour indoor program on "Life Cycles of Stars and Supernovas.'
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a driving simulator event at its Fillmore Street complex, 12220 Fillmore St. in West Olive, in mid-February.
Ottawa County Parks is offering several programs at its Nature Education Center in January.
These programs last about 90 minutes, have no program fees and advance registration is not required.
