He'll arrive at Ferrysburg’s William Ferry Park in a fire truck, with sirens blaring, at 6 p.m. Saturday, just in time to take part in the annual bonfire and carol sing.
Members of Watermark Church will lead the singing.
“We'll all stand around the bonfire and sing Christmas carols,” said Ferrysburg City Manager Craig Bessinger.
Bessinger said community members and city leaders look forward to the event every year.
“It's a tradition that's been going on for a number of years here in the City of Ferrysburg,” he said. “The city looks forward to it every year. Come out to the park, see the bonfire and Santa Claus, and sing Christmas carols.”
The event, which concludes at about 7 p.m., includes free doughnut holes and hot chocolate.
