Grand Haven standout forward Kellum Bridgeforth has signed his Letter of Intent to continue his basketball career at Grace Christian University, formerly Grace Bible College, next fall.

“We are excited to have Kellum as a Tiger,” said Grace head coach Gary Bailey. “He brings one of the best motors we have seen in a while. He is an outstanding defender and will help make our offense go. He is the entire package at both ends of the floor. We had been watching him for a couple of years and knew after watching him his senior year that he would help us next year. He is a great character kid, as well, and will fit in nicely with our group of guys."

Bridgeforth said he chose Grace because of the personnel surrounding the program including the staff and his new teammates.

As a senior, Bridgeforth averaged 16 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Bucs and was named first-team All-Conference in the O-K Red.

The Tigers compete in Division II of the National Christian College Athletic Association, or NCCAA, and are coming off a third-place finish in Division II last season, returning all but three players for the coming season. The program has seven national titles to its name, coming in 1994, 1995, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
