It is located under the green canopy at the intersection of Harbor Drive and First Street in Grand Haven.
New this year, the market has partnered with Courtyard Concerts to offer live music every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
As always, the market will offer in-season produce, cut flowers, hanging baskets, freshly baked breads, coffee, pastries, jams, jellies and more.
The market will add Wednesdays to the schedule starting June 7.
The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven-Spring Lake-Ferrysburg manages the Grand Haven market.
“We are excited for the farmers market season to begin,” said the Chamber’s “market master,” Mary Sherman. “Not only does it mean summer, it also means easier access to fresh and local produce, supporting our local economy, and enjoying the experience of shopping outdoors.”
The local Chamber of Commerce also manages the Spring Lake Farm & Garden Market, which takes place Thursdays in the Harvest Bible Chapel parking lot in the village. This market opens June 1 and runs through mid-October.
“We are very fortunate that our community has access to a farmers market three days a week during the summer months,” Sherman said. “What better way is there than to eat healthy and buy local?”
