SPRING LAKE TWP. — The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven-Spring Lake-Ferrysburg, in conjunction with the five local units of government, will honor several area businesses at its Business Recognition Award Luncheon next week.

The 31st annual luncheon will take place at the Spring Lake Country Club on Wednesday, June 20, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Community leaders in each municipality have chosen one business to honor for their growth, creation and/or retention of jobs, increased productivity, community involvement, and investment in the community.

This year’s recipients are:

— City of Ferrysburg: Miss Lisa’s Ice Cream

— City of Grand Haven: Grand Haven Custom Molding

— Grand Haven Township: Anything Goes Catering & More

— Spring Lake Township: Motiv Bowling

— Village of Spring Lake: Best Financial Credit Union

The Business Recognition Award program was developed in 1987 to build awareness of how the economic health of Northwest Ottawa County is based on the existence of businesses that have sustained growth while providing necessary and high-quality jobs, goods and services.

The cost to attend the luncheon is $25 for Chamber members and $30 for nonmembers. Reservations can be made with the local Chamber of Commerce by calling 616-842-4910 or online at www.grandhavenchamber.org.
