Jingle Bell Parade

Umbrellas came out for an unusually rainy Jingle Bell Parade on Saturday.

Despite the wet weather, the parade went on in front of hundreds of spectators in downtown Grand Haven.

Area businesses and nonprofit organizations starting ringing in the holidays with lighted floats, music, costumes and good cheer during the annual event through downtown Grand Haven Saturday evening.

Spring Lake businesswoman and village councilwoman Michelle Hanks was the grand marshal. The parade was followed by the lighting of the community Christmas tree and caroling in Central Park.
